Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of pest control services by Pest Free Pest & Termite Control (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services

We provide professional pest and termite control services including, but not limited to treatments for:

  • Bedbugs

  • Bees and wasps

  • Cockroaches

  • Rodents

  • Spiders

  • Termites

  • Pre-construction and post-construction treatments

  • End of lease pest treatments

All services are carried out in accordance with applicable Australian standards and industry best practices.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Pricing may vary depending on property size, level of infestation, accessibility, and treatment required.

  • Additional costs may apply if site conditions differ from those disclosed at the time of quoting.

  • GST is included unless stated otherwise.

 

4. Bookings & Cancellations

  • Bookings are confirmed once scheduled with our team.

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a call-out fee.

 

5. Access to Property

  • You must provide safe and reasonable access to all areas requiring treatment.

  • Failure to provide access may result in incomplete service and additional charges.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure pets, children, and occupants are managed appropriately during service.

 

6. Preparation & Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Follow any pre-treatment or post-treatment instructions provided

  • Remove or cover food items, utensils, and sensitive materials where required

  • Advise us of any health concerns, allergies, or vulnerable occupants

  • Disclose any known pest activity or previous treatments

Failure to follow instructions may impact treatment effectiveness and void any service warranty.

 

7. Treatment Limitations

  • Pest control treatments reduce and manage pest activity but do not guarantee immediate or complete eradication in all cases.

  • Some infestations may require multiple treatments.

  • Environmental factors, structural conditions, and hygiene practices can affect outcomes.

  • We are not responsible for reinfestation caused by external factors beyond our control.

 

8. Termite Treatments & Inspections

  • Termite inspections are conducted based on visible and accessible areas only.

  • We cannot guarantee detection of termites in concealed or inaccessible areas.

  • Termite barriers and treatments reduce risk but do not guarantee complete prevention.

  • Ongoing inspections (recommended annually) are essential for continued protection.

 

9. Warranty & Service Guarantees

  • Any warranty period provided is conditional on full payment and compliance with our instructions.

  • Warranty does not cover new infestations, untreated areas, or environmental factors.

  • Follow-up treatments may be provided at our discretion within the warranty period.

 

10. Health & Safety

  • All products used are approved and applied in accordance with Australian regulations.

  • You must follow all safety directions provided after treatment (e.g., re-entry times).

  • We are not liable for issues arising from failure to follow safety instructions.

 

11. Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage caused by pests prior to treatment.

 

12. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.

  • We accept EFTPOS, bank transfer, and other approved payment methods.

  • Late payments may incur additional fees.

 

13. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Your information is used solely for service delivery, communication, and record-keeping.

 

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website and apply to future services.

 

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
